Terra-Cotta Warriors

Today is Adam's 13th birthday! {Wish him a Happy Birthday for me?}
We knew we had to do something special for such a big occasion so we decided that the Terra-Cotta Warriors would be perfect. It would pass the time in anticipation for tomorrow and it was something that would fascinate Adam! So off we went. It was absolutely amazing. The history and information that we learned was breath taking. We had an absolutely fantastic day. We toured the three pits and had lunch. We stopped by a super market and that was just as interesting. Xi'an is amazing and beautiful. It ranks as one of my favorite places in China.
Some of you have asked how Andrew is doing being back in China. The answer: Great! It is a HUGE answer to prayers as we had no idea how he would react to coming back, when his memories are not the best. He has done beautifully. As he always does and is loving every bit of it. Food especially. :) Our guide, Jojo {Who is absolutely amazing wonderful fantastic} talked to him in mandarin tonight and he understood and responded in English. It was amazing to see that he remembered the language.
We went to get dinner tonight with Jojo. Because we don't have a group it is much more laid back and easy going.
We talked to our Jojo about tomorrow and we found out that we meet Ainsley at 4pm. For those at home it will be 3am on Sunday Morning when we get her.
We are asking that you please be on your knees in prayer for our sweet girl. Tomorrow is going to be a hard day and it is going to be a very emotional. She is losing everything she has ever known. She is coming to something so much better, but she is still a baby. Please pray for her heart tomorrow. Pray that there are no tears and she accepts us willingly. Your prayers for tomorrow would be so appreciated. For our hearts. For Ainsley's heart to be open and accepting of us and that she will know and have peace. We are so excited for tomorrow and cannot wait to get our hands on her! {You can read more about that here}
Thanks y'all
I will definitely post pictures of Ting Ting {Ainsley} as soon as possible! xoxox

  1. It seems like just yesterday we were there in Xi'an at the Terracotta Warriors! It was almost two years ago though. Wow!
